I would like to get a proposal going to add a baseline of liquidity on Hydration. Since the team at pendulum is making really good developments product wise (especially with vortex), people need to be able to buy and sell the PEN token without massive slippage due to low liquidity. The overall pendulum roadmap seems to be solid this year so allowing for more people to have access to the token will be crucial.

Initial idea:

Add 500k PEN from the treasury to a pool on hydration at a minimum. Anymore than that is up for discussion.

Any more thoughts?

Would anyone be okay with doing 1,000,000 instead of 500,000 PEN?

Updated Idea:

Allocate 1,000,000 PEN tokens from the treasury to add to the isolated pool on hydration (DOT/PEN) (To create a base for liquidity so we aren't relying solely on the community)

At first, there will need to be some selling to get enough DOT to deposit PEN and DOT. Sell about half of the PEN for DOT to deposit in the pool.

Strategy:

To not cause no more than

.80 percent price movement per swap until about half of the 1,000,000 PEN has been swapped to DOT.

Sell around 500 PEN each swap to start off with and immediately deposit the funds into the pool.

Do this until more PEN can be swapped without causing no more than, .80 percent price movement.

Once the swapping is done and the tokens are deposited, the tokens cannot be removed for however long the Pendulum project exists. This is to have a guaranteed base of liquidity so people can swap in and out of PEN without having to completely rely on community liquidity.

Once the 1,000,000 PEN has been deposited into the pool, make the beneficiary account multisig with: PendulumAlex - 6cm5M5JVknj4NQdWpdayqwm92wzvSzjgE5SCRS7HM1EoauLm and MarcelPendulum - 6fFh66MVHosb9mBKfRhWxVTrBpmgnmE5XprTDRyEo42XjCHS and have a threshold of 2 so liquidity cannot be pulled out of no where.

I did not mean to put 50,000 because I wanted to see I could post anything. If this can be voided that would be great. Thank You!
